Hello, I'm Sarah, and at Neukombiniert-Interiors I creatively combine vintage furniture, upcycled design and Chalk Paint™.

My Story

It all started as a hobby in 2016: That was the first time I worked with Annie Sloan® Chalk Paint™ and I haven't stopped since. Neukombiniert has been around since 2020, I joined as a partner in 2021, and since summer 2025 I have been running the shop alone.

What I Do

I restore selected pieces of furniture and let each piece decide for itself which colour and story it wants to carry. I also find special home accessories, from old illuminated signs to small decorative pieces for the home. Favourite pieces can also be brought in as a commission.

Workshops

I particularly enjoy sharing my knowledge and passion for creative furniture design. In my workshops, you can learn step by step how to turn found pieces into favourites: Chalk Paint™ Basics, Furniture, Mini Chalk Paint™, as well as Decoupage and Leafing. Dates are arranged individually by email. Guests also regularly come into the shop and showcase their craft in their own workshops.

Collaborations

I enjoy working with others. Since 2024 I have been selling Chalk Paint™ in the shop, and today Neukombiniert is Berlin's official Annie Sloan® Flagship Store. As the first stockist in Europe, I also carry the decoupage papers, stencils and Lel’s Lustre from Made by Marley. In addition, I carry selected labels and artists such as Avenue 38, Madam Stolz, Wildwasserfarben from Berlin, The Prism of Starlings from Edinburgh and Varek Illustrations with their tea towels. I have also been a member of the SWN Frauennetz, a local network for female entrepreneurs, since 2025.

The Shop
