This is the first of two tobacco boxes that I have refurbished. The frame is made of wood (probably pine) and the shelves are made from old wooden planks. The leaf design on the jute fabric is hand-painted with chalk paint in various shades of green. All wooden elements have been sealed with Annie Sloan Clear and Dark Wax. I have attached a plexiglass panel as a top shelf.
